For the third year a 鈥淕iving Tree鈥� was put up at 欧美AV鈥檚 Lincoln Campus for children of Transitions and TRiO students. Around 53 children will be able to have a happy holiday because of generous employees.

The 欧美AV Board of Governors approved a $2 per credit hour increase in the tuition rate and a $2 per credit hour increase in facilities fee for the 2023-2024 academic year during its regular monthly meeting Dec. 13. The motion passed on a 9-2 vote.

欧美AV鈥檚 Beatrice Campus has recognized Alanna Fangmeier as the 鈥淎g Student of the Month鈥� for December. To be selected, Ag instructors look at a number of factors including grades, attitude and progress in the program.

欧美AV and the Walter Scott Family Foundation are partnering on a scholarship program that will provide financial assistance to students in select career-technical programs on the Milford Campus for at least the next 10 years.

Wendy Friesen is the new coordinator for 欧美AV鈥檚 Learning Center at Hebron, while Lisa Hunzeker is taking over at the Falls City Learning Center. Both women bring a wealth of experience to the College.

Close to 600 students will earn their degrees, diplomas or certificates from 欧美AV during fall commencement exercises at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at Pinnacle Bank Arena in downtown Lincoln. Students from Beatrice, Lincoln and Milford campuses will be participating.

Prospective student-athletes attending 欧美AV will soon have more choices in which to participate in intercollegiate athletics when an expansion plan takes effect in fall 2023.
